We were concerned the buckets would be full of ice from yesterday\u2019s run.\u00a0 The trees dripped into the late evening before freezing.\u00a0 That frequently causes big ice chunks.\u00a0 By 10:00 AM it was above freezing.\u00a0 The sun did its magic and melted the bucket ice.\u00a0 By 11:00 the trees were dripping.\u00a0 \u00a0PSI rose to 15.<\/p>\n
We when out collecting at 3:00 PM.\u00a0 Took sips of sap from several buckets to quench our thirst.\u00a0 Picked up 410 gallons.\u00a0 Still had problems with our new pump.\u00a0 We think now the extension cord is bad restricting the voltage the pump needs to start.\u00a0 \u00a0 After collecting we tried the pump on different outlets and it worked.<\/p>\n
Cook tomorrow.\u00a0 Forecast is 23 overnight and 40 tomorrow.\u00a0 Hoping we can collect on Tuesday again.<\/p>\n\n\n
