{"id":500,"date":"2017-03-02T21:54:06","date_gmt":"2017-03-02T16:54:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.mapleacres.com\/?p=500"},"modified":"2020-02-23T03:32:59","modified_gmt":"2020-02-22T22:32:59","slug":"first-two-batches-of-syrup-in-the-milk-can","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mapleacres.com\/?p=500","title":{"rendered":"First Two Batches Of Syrup In The Milk Can"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>15 overnight. \u00a0Sunny but cold today only 31. \u00a0Checked the tanks first thing this morning. \u00a0We kept all the tanks liquid, no ice. \u00a0The R\/O water tank had a heating tape so it didn&#8217;t freeze. \u00a0We took down the pipe from the storage tanks to the evaporator. \u00a0Wrapping in heating tape is a hassle and not 100% effective. \u00a0Turns out the pipe is pretty easy to take down and store in the heated R\/O room.<\/p>\n<p>Had to haul 100 more gallons of water to clean the R\/O membrane. \u00a0We used the same hose setup we figured out yesterday in the snow storm. \u00a0That was a lot of trail an error.
