Flooded the tractor. \u00a0It sat for a while as we collected and removed buckets. \u00a0Tried to start without using the choke. \u00a0Did not catch on the firing. \u00a0We let the tractor sit in the woods and went for the ATV. \u00a0The trails are good with the mud pretty much gone. \u00a0The ATV was fine pulling the wagon and tank. \u00a0 We got the tractor running after we finished collecting.<\/p>\n
By 3:30 PM we finished collecting. \u00a0The first collection of the season was solo and the last collection of the season was solo. \u00a0Got 215 gallons of sap. \u00a02.8 Brix, \u00a0And it was nice clear sap. \u00a0But if it stood a day or so yet it would go bad.<\/p>\n
Started the evaporator by 4:30 PM and cooked until 10:30 PM. \u00a0That gives us a head start for tomorrow. \u00a0We have to finish cooking by late afternoon and push on with cleanup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
